About MarketCast
MarketCast was created in 2016 to solve a simple problem: there was no easy way to display a stock portfolio on a TV without connecting a laptop or using complicated software. Since then, MarketCast has grown into a full-featured stock market monitoring app available on Amazon Fire TV, Android TV, Apple TV, and Chromecast with Google TV.
The app is designed for investors who want to keep an eye on the markets without being glued to a phone or computer screen. Whether you're a day trader who wants live pricing on a wall-mounted display, a financial advisor who needs a conference room ticker for client meetings, or a long-term investor who likes to check in on your portfolio while watching TV, MarketCast makes it simple. Just download the app, build your portfolio using the TV remote, and start streaming.
MarketCast's Live Stream feature cycles through your portfolio's stock prices, history charts, and market news headlines automatically. You can customize what appears in the stream and how long each slide is displayed. Your portfolios are saved to the cloud, so you can access them across multiple devices. The app supports US equities, ETFs, mutual funds, and major market indexes including the S&P 500, Dow Jones Industrial Average, and Nasdaq Composite.
MarketCast is completely free to download and use. There are no premium tiers, no subscription fees, and no limit on the number of portfolios you can create. We built MarketCast because we wanted this tool to exist for ourselves, and we're happy to share it with the investing community.
